Two Latvian hockey players exit team

RIGA 's Following the disastrous showing of Latvia's hockey team at the Turin Olympics, two player 's Sandis Ozolins and Aigars Cipruss 's have said they would no longer play for the team.

"I can thank the coach [Leonids Beresnevs] for trusting me, but the time comes for everyone to quit. This time it's my turn," said Ozolins, who plays for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He said he would not play at the upcoming world ice hockey championship in Riga this spring.

Cipruss plays for the Riga 2000 hockey club.
