Lithuanian Railways lawfully refused to sign contract with Skinest

Lithuania's state-run railway company Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) lawfully refused to signed a railway sleeper supply contract with Skinest Baltija, part of the Estonian railway services group Skinest Rail, after it was eliminated from the sleeper tender, the Lithuanian Court of Appeal ruled on March 7. The court upheld the ruling of the Vilnius Regional Court, issued in December, when the latter court rejected Skinest Baltija's request to order Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai to sign the contract with it.
