VILNIUS – Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda is heading to Paris on Monday to attend an international conference aimed at strengthening support for Ukraine.
The conference is being hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
"At this time, prompt Western military support for Ukraine is crucial for it to counter Russia's aggression," Nauseda's office quoted him as saying in a press release.
At the conference, European leaders "will focus on ways to boost cooperation between the allies in support of Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor", according to the press release.
