RIGA - The resignation of Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins (New Unity) was logical in a way, and the government must work as a team, Environmental Protection and Regional Development Minister Maris Sprindzuks (United List) told TV3 this morning.
He pointed out that it is not possible to work the way it was until now. "There must be a clear goal that we want to achieve," said Sprindzuks, noting that the government must work as a team.
Sprindzuks also pointed out the need for the various sectors to cooperate and for the necessary changes are adopted, and prime minister has an important role in facilitating this cooperation.
As reported, Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins announced on Monday that he will resign as prime minister and will not stand for the post again.
