TALLINN - Intercity bus operator FlixBus is expanding its network by opening ten new routes, all of which connect Pärnu with Finnish cities via a stop in Tallinn.

The ten new routes will cover 13 destinations and new stops in 11 cities. The new final destinations in Finland include Forssa, Kotka, Hamina, and Imatra, with all routes starting from Pärnu. The other new routes will connect Pärnu and Tallinn with Turku, Vaasa, Lahti, Kuopio, Rovaniemi, and Tampere. Additionally, FlixBus will add stops in Vihti, Huittinen, Porvoo, Kouvola, Taavetti, Lappeenranta, and Joutseno.

All buses on these routes will operate in both directions daily, with some routes running multiple times a day -- for example, there will be four daily departures to and from Kotka.

Michal Leman, FlixBus director for Eastern Europe, said that interest in both domestic and international routes has been high among passengers in Finland and Estonia.

"The new routes offer more convenient access to various Finnish cities. Pärnu, especially during the summer months, is a popular destination among Finnish travelers, and alongside Tallinn, it is one of the key hubs in our region," said Leman.

All ticket prices include the ferry fare to Helsinki. The bus takes passengers directly to the ferry terminal entrance, and no separate ferry ticket is needed. Tickets can be booked up to 3.5 hours before the ferry departure. Passengers can also bring bicycles, and ticket prices are dynamic.
