EU provides 1 mln euros for Tallinn-Helsinki tunnel feasibility study

The European Union has allocated approximately one million euros for conducting a feasibility study for a railway tunnel between the capitals of Estonia and Finland, Helsingin Sanomat said. The feasibility study must find out whether it pays to build an undersea tunnel, what are the technical options in construction of the tunnel, and the project's potential impact on the environment.
