TALLINN - The Estonian Center Party has contested a ruling of the Tallinn Circuit Court, according to which the party must pay 110,100 euros into the state budget.

The Center Party in February 2017 contested an injunction of the Supervisory Committee on Party Financing (ERJK), according to which the party had to pay the 110,100 euros of forbidden donations into the state budget.

The party found that the ERJK injunction has, in an unfounded and unjustified manner, assumed the stance that the party has received forbidden donations in the amount of 110,100 euros, which must be paid into the state budget.

On December 22, 2017, the Tallinn Administrative Court did not satisfy the Center Party's appeal, but the party took the matter to the circuit court. The party wants the circuit court to annul the ruling of the administrative court and satisfy the party's appeal.

The circuit court will discuss the Center Party's appeal on March 6.
