Young man bags EUR 600,000 win at Bingo Loto

TALLINN – The Bingo Loto jackpot in the amount of 605,173 euros was drawn on the Estonian television show "Suur lotokolmapaev" on Wednesday, with the winning ticket with five playing fields purchased online.

According to the state-owned lottery company Eesti Loto, the winner was a younger man.

The last Bingo jackpot was won at the beginning of May, when the jackpot was shared by two men from Tallinn, each of whom won 386,560 euros. Both winning tickets were purchased online then as well.

In the first five months, Eesti Loto paid nearly 6.6 million euros to the state in gambling tax. In the same period, Eesti Loto paid out 17.1 million euros in winnings, including almost 3 million euros in instant lottery winnings.
