RIGA - We can live peacefully in Latvia, our country is safe, emphasized Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins (New Unity) in an interview with TV3 this morning.
The prime minister was asked if there was reason to be concerned about separatist tendencies in the activities of some regional politicians. According to the politician, the country is safe because Latvia has strong security services whose capacity is constantly growing.
We have measures against anti-state activities and those measures are quite strong, added the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, speaking about Latvia's fight against Belarus' continued hybrid attack, which continues to try to push migrants illegally into Latvia, Karins promised that state services would continue to strictly monitor the border.
