RIGA - Latvian President Egils Levits, Polish President Andrzej Duda and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda emphasize that a tribunal would be both a legal and a political instrument in the fight against Russian aggression, the three sides agreed during a meeting on Tuesday during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

As Elina Kresa, communication specialist of the Media Center of the Presidential Chancery, informed LETA, the presidents agreed that the annual meeting of world leaders, which is finally taking place in full after a two-year break, proves how big Russia's mistake was in starting an aggressive war in Ukraine, and that Russia has lost in all respects.

The presidents exchanged views on the provision of support to Ukraine, which should be continued as intensively as before in economic, political and military terms, especially emphasizing the need for the supply of heavy weapons, including tanks.

The presidents of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland once again discussed the issue of establishing an international tribunal to investigate Russia's aggression in Ukraine, especially discussing the format in which it could be formed.
