RIGA - Zorzs Tikmers has been put forward as the sole candidate for the post of Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) president, the LOC has announced.
Tikmers currently serves as the general-secretary of the LOC.
Meanwhile, the general-secretary of the Latvian Tennis Union Karlis Lejnieks has been put forward for the post of LOC general-secretary.
The post of LOC president became vacant after current President Aldons Vrublevskis announced that he will be stepping down in March.
