Three Latvian universities feature in QS World University Ranking

RIGA - Three Latvian universities - Riga Technical University (RTU), Riga Stradins University (RSU) and the University of Latvia have been included in the QS World University Ranking 2023, according to information available on the organization's website. 

The QS World University Ranking includes 1,422 universities all over the world and compares higher education institutions on eight different criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, faculty/student ratio, international students ratio, international faculty ratio, international research network and employment outcomes. 

RTU has been ranked in 751-800 place in the QS World University Ranking 2023, the highest spot among the three Latvian universities featuring in the ranking. RTU has been included in the ranking since 2018. RTU has earned the highest scores in employment outcomes and the international students ratio. 

RSU, which has made it to the QS World University Ranking for the fifth consecutive year, has been ranked in 801-1,000 place. RSU's highest scores are in the international students ratio. 

The University of Latvia, which was first included in the ranking in 2014, remains in 1,001-1,200 position. The University of Latvia has earned the highest scores in international research network and employer reputation.
