The council of Tallinn on December 13 passed the city's budget for 2019 totaling 761 million euros in size, about 5 percent more than the revised budget for 2017.
Operating expenses in the 2019 budget of Tallinn total 606.7 million euros. Among the latter, the expenses of the field of education are biggest at 31.7 percent, followed by public transport at 16.7 percent and social welfare and healthcare at 12.6 percent.
