TALLINN - People in Estonia are more demanding towards immigrants than residents of many other European countries, it appears from an analysis by a group of researchers at the University of Tartu comparing attitudes towards immigrants in Estonia and 14 other countries of Europe.
It appears from the findings of the analysis that 33 per cent of residents of Estonia see immigration as rather good and 29 per cent as rather bad for Estonia, whereas the opinions of 38 per cent lie somewhere in between, spokespeople for the University of Tartu said.
