StarBridge, a Latvian company specializing in financial infrastructure, participates in the official delegation of Latvia’s Prime Minister Evika Siliņa and Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis on a working visit to Hamburg and Rostock. The delegation brought together leading Latvian businesses to highlight opportunities for cooperation between Germany’s large market and Latvia’s deep expertise.
The program featured sector-specific events across fintech, blockchain, life sciences, logistics, renewable energy, and sustainable building. In Hamburg, the delegation attends the Latvian–German FinTech Roundtable, the Sparkasse Fintech Hub, and meets with experts at the Hanseatic Blockchain Institute. In Rostock, the agenda includes sessions with the Chamber of Commerce, site visits to innovation clusters, and exchanges with German partners on infrastructure and technology development.
As part of these exchanges, StarBridge presented its expertise in designing scalable, regulation-ready systems for banks and fintechs. The company’s solutions include core banking modules, AML/KYC automation, payment gateways, and safeguarding systems.
Olegs Cernisevs, Doctor of Science and founder of StarBridge, said:
“It’s an honor to stand here on behalf of Latvia and show how our expertise can create real impact. My career has always been about bridging theory and practice, and with Blackcat, our flagship project, we proved that academic models can power live financial systems at scale. Now I’m eager to open that toolbox to German partners and see what we can build together.”
The visit underscored Latvia’s growing role as a source of financial and technological innovation, contributing resilient infrastructure solutions to support European capital flows, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.
