RIGA - Prime Minister Evika Silina (New Unity) this Wednesday will take part in a video conference with leaders of the Coalition of the Willing on support to Ukraine, the prime minister's spokeswoman Anna Udre told LETA.

The talks, initiated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron, are expected to focus on achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US presence.

The talks will take place ahead of this week's meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Coalition of the Willing brings together countries willing and ready to provide support to Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will meet in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, CNN reported, citing White House sources.
