The embattled Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko has self-appointed himself in a clandestine ceremony as a new-term president of the country, but his chances to serve the entire five years, which constitute his sixth term in the office, are bleak, unless Russia steps in. More bans Three Baltic states have passed new bans on Belarus and Lukashenko in September.
