Riga City Council to borrow more than EUR 0.5 million for development of video surveillance system

RIGA - The temporary administration of the Riga City Council decided today to borrow EUR 566,474 for development of video surveillance system. In 2020 the local government will borrow 40 percent of the sum or up to EUR 226,503, while in 2021, the remaining sum or EUR 339,971 will be borrowed. The local government will borrow from the Treasury for a time period of five years, deferring repayment of the principal for two years. The Riga Municipal Police will be the responsible institution in the project.
