Riga City Council receives nine applications for staging rallies "against mandatory vaccination"

RIGA - Riga City Council has received nine applications for staging rallies "against mandatory vaccination" in the city, LETA learned from the municipality.

The rallies will take place at 3 Pils Square every day from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., starting August 27.

The applications have been submitted by a private individual whose name has not been disclosed. They state that 30 to 50 people will participate in each rally.

As reported, a couple of thousand of protesters gathered in Old Riga on August 18 to protest against mandatory vaccination against Covid-19 after MP Aldis Ozols (Law and Order) called on people to arrive to protests.
