Representatives of Latvia and Kazakhstan discuss legal protection matters

RIGA - Consular consultations, which were held in Riga between the foreign services of Latvia and Kazakhstan on Monday, included discussions on the legal protection of the two countries' nationals, LETA was told the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

Special attention in the consultations was paid to the issue of legal protection of Latvian and Kazakh nationals, including in the field of employment. 

The delegations exchanged experience on the readmission of their citizens.

In-depth discussions were held on the current situation and prospects for cooperation in the field of visas. It was noted that this would intensify mutual relations in economic, cultural, scientific and other areas.

Previous consultations on consular matters between Latvia and Kazakhstan took place on November 19, 2015.
