The total profit of the Estonian business sector in the second quarter of 2016 was 671 million euros, 6 per cent smaller than in the same period of last year, Statistics Estonia said on Friday, Sept. 2.
Compared to the second quarter of 2015, total profit decreased in most economic activities. The biggest contributors to growth in total profit were trade and information and communication enterprises. The growth in the profit of the business sector was negatively influenced mostly by manufacturing and transport and storage enterprises.
