Porzingis to donate USD 500 for each blocked shot to charity

DALLAS - Latvian bigman Kristaps Porzingis, in cooperation with the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, have launched a charity campaign aimed at fighting childhood hunger, Dallas Morning News reported Brad Townsend reported on his Twitter account this week.

During the charity campaign called #KrisStops, Porzingis will donate USD 500 to the MavsFoundation charity, which will then be distributed to local organizations to help fight childhood hunger in Northern Texas.

In 22 NBA games this season, Porzingis has blocked 44 shots, thus already guaranteeing USD 22,000 for the charity campaign.
