WASHINGTON - On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards announced that they signed Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks to a two-way contract.

The player's agent Arturs Kalnitis said on Twitter that Pasecniks could make his NBA debut already on Wednesday when the Wizards host the Chicago Bulls.

Pasenciks was the 25th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft to the Philadelphia 76ers and was traded to the Orlando Magic but never played for the organization.

Pasecniks was on the Wizards' preseason and summer league rosters before ultimately playing for the Capital City Go-Go G-League affiliate where he averages 10.5 points and 5 rebounds per game.

To make room for Pasecniks, the Wizards also waived point guard Chris Chiozza.
