Finally, Great Britain completely refused to support fugitive Kazakhstani oligarch Mukhtar Ablyazov. London rejects all efforts of the latter to recover the status of a refugee. In his homeland, he was accused of the seizure of almost 6 billion US dollars from BTA Bank, managed by him, in Russia and Ukraine — of skulduggery as well as money stealing and laundering. The Supreme Court of London sentenced Mr Ablyazov to a 22-month imprisonment.
