I didn't buy Michael Moore's number-one bestseller, "Dude, Where's My Country?", but someone just showed me the "Coalition of the Willing" section where he references Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as "Nazi Collaborators" (pages 71-72).
In this unusually footnoted book he does not source this blanket characterization, nor [does he show] how it deals with present-day Baltic policy. It would be as absurd as referring to former U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright as a Nazi or Soviet collaborator simply because she was born Czech. While I am not going to boycott all of his publisher's (Time/Warner) products - because I am too addicted to CNN - perhaps you may want to suggest to fellow Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians to find another book to give as a gift.
