RIGA – Nordeka bus company has announced that it is now possible to reserve charter buses over the Internet. Nordeka offers the service through their Web site where one can fill out a form by way of the charter link.

The request must include the desired route, the starting point and how long the bus will be needed. Nordeka provides the service for a capacity of 14 in the Ford Transit minibus and to 72 in the double-decker Scania Eclipse.

Nordeka, with the greatest number of routes, provides 39 routes within Latvia and service to nine international destinations (Klaipeda, Kaunas, Kaliningrad, Minsk, Tallinn, Vilnius, Sovetska, St. Petersburg and Warsaw). They have a total of 87 buses in their fleet. Their latest introduction has been the minibus routes to Aluksne and Ventspils. The Web site also has a timetable for each of its routes. However, for individual tickets, one must purchase them at the bus station or through a travel agency.
