A tragedy occurred last week that shook the soul of Estonia. Decorated cyclist Lauri Aus got on his bike on Saturday morning to do what he loved doing the most – race – only on that day he never came home. Father of two and mentor of many young Estonian cyclists, Aus, had every reason to think that the day would have been nothing but professional pleasure. In the end, however, he had the accursed misfortune of ending up on the wrong road at the wrong time. A driver with an excessively high blood-alcohol level came along and struck the cyclist down. Aus, 32, died on the way to the hospital. ...
