Lithuanian example(In response to "Ballroom Bums" in TBT #349)Your claim that by cultivating ties with some former Soviet republics like Ukraine and Georgia, Lithuania is somehow engaging in "dangerous diplomatic games" is utter nonsense. To begin with, you don't substantiate where exactly does the danger lie. As far as it is known, neither Ukraine nor Georgia are considered "rogue states." Both have, however imperfect, multiparty political systems with regular elections.Besides, the populace in both countries is overwhelmingly pro-Western and eager to emerge out of the shadow of the former...
