At their annual general meeting on April 3, Hansapank shareholders approved the annual report and decided to pay out 476 million kroons (30.4 million euros) in dividends.
The shareholders decided to distribute the 2002 net income in the amount of 1.7 billion kroons together with the retained earnings from the previous periods in the amount of 3.2 billion kroons.
The closing date of the shareholders' list - for receiving dividends - is April 17, 2003, at 8:00 a.m. The dividend will be paid out on April 25, 2003.
Swedbank, the largest shareholder in Hansapank, is set to receive 284 million kroons as dividends.
Swedbank holds 59.71 percent of the shares in Hansapank.
