WARSAWPoland's Parliament opened the way for a referendum on European Union membership to last for two days, a measure floated to ensure stronger turnout.A bill on the referendum adopted on Feb. 13 by the lower house by a vote of 297 for, 97 against and seven abstentions, must now be approved the upper house and endorsed by the president.Fearing low voter interest ahead of the referendum - which Prime Minister Leszek Miller has proposed take place on June 8 - supporters of EU membership had proposed spreading the poll over two days to give people more time to vote.Whether the referendum act...
