Low turnout at anti-war protests

VILNIUSThe Baltics barely registered a blip on the international anti-war demonstration screen Feb. 15, as less than 1,000 protesters in the three capitals bothered to brave the frosty temperatures and express their views on imminent military action in Iraq. Around the world, however, some 8 million protesters in over 600 cities gathered on the same day to demonstrate against the possibility of a U.S.-led attack on the totalitarian Iraqi regime.
