Lithuanians rule the world in dance contest

VILNIUS - The Klaipeda University sport dance group Zuvedra became the world champions of Latin American dances on Nov 27. The world championship was held in the Vilnius Sports Arena with 14 teams from 10 countries taking part.Eight women and eight men made up each team. Their six-minute show included elements of samba, rumba and other Latin dances.At the finale, the Klaipeda dancers received a standing ovation from almost 5,000 robustly applauding viewers as the Lithuanian dancers poured champagne on each other's heads.
