Estonia closing in on WTO membership

TALLINN - Estonia is getting closer to joining the World Trade Organization, a move that should improve the investment climate in Estonia, give exporters a leg up in the world market and bring the country closer to joining the European Union. The WTO. approved the last part of Estonia's accession packet March 24, including tariff schedules, thus removing one of the last hurdles for Estonia to join the organization.
