Of all our neighbors, Belarus is the one we speak about least. Maybe that is because it remains stuck in the past from which we want to break away. Therefore, we pay most attention to those that have left us behind (Poland) or are on the same level with us (Latvia).In order to find a more accurate term to characterize Belarus, I will use the word "ethnocentrism."
