Duma speaker: Estonia unfit for EU

MOSCOW (BNS) - The speaker of the Duma, Russia's lower house of Parliament, said Estonia is not fit to join the European Union because it fails to observe basic European legal principles."Estonia does not subscribe to the principles adopted in countries of the European Union," said Gennady Seleznyov at a Feb. 1 news conference in Moscow.Estonia is one of six countries singled out by the EU for membership negotiations in the first round of eastern enlargement.
