VILNIUS - There has been a lot of upheaval around the recently announced adjustments in EU member states’ contributions towards the EU budget. Most notably, the British will have to pay over a billion pounds into the EU budget for a reason that is beyond absurd: their economy is doing too well. Needless to say, this has led to even more tensions and is likely to spark more debates within the UK on how awful and unnecessary the EU is.
