Dear TBT,
This time the year 2014 started out vividly in Brussels, with Commissioner Dr. Laszlo Andor extending invitations to a conference on social innovation. Experts from all over Europe were present and spoke about the fact of how to fight poverty and unemployment.
One strategy discussed was to place together all kinds of projects in the area of unemployment, to create small projects, enterprises run by one person, et cetera.
The competition creates job opportunities and income across the whole social area of transferal payments.
This and the task for social investment was discussed, but no experts from the Baltic States spoke, so progress is being done, as we see, in southern Europe and Central Europe. But the Baltic people should participate more actively in these discussions.
