TALLINN - Food and housing are among the most important and inevitable costs in the family budget, according to the SEB Baltic Household Outlook, which shows that, when compared to the European Union average, families in the Baltic States spend significantly more on food and a bit less on housing, SEB said in a statement.In Lithuania, an average of 25 percent of the family income is spent on food and 16 percent on housing, while in Estonia and Latvia the distribution of expenses between food and housing is more even - 19 and 20 percent in Estonia, and 19 and 23 percent of the family b...
