The Latvian elections took place just three weeks ago, but it seems like an eternity since that exciting and uncertain time. The posters have come down and politicians have gone indoors to argue over the spoils, completely oblivious to the electorate they courted so energetically.The fact that the centrist parties with fundamentally similar views cannot add themselves up as a majority government is a symptom of a deeper sickness. They are secretive about what they tell the public about their negotiations, and what does come out is far from edifying.Instead of thrashing out what should be do...
