Food, energy weigh on inflation numbers

TALLINN - Estonia’s central bank Eesti Pank said in its comments to the October consumer price index that excessive wage pressures may speed up inflation in Estonia, reports LETA. According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index grew by 0.2 percent in October compared to the previous month. Though the monthly price growth of goods and services was slower than in September, inflation accelerated to 4.1 percent, year-on-year.
