PANEVEZYS - Estonian cyclist Rein Taaramae has failed in his final bid to win the white jersey for best youth rider at the Tour de France. Turning 25 in April this year, Taaramae knew that this tour presented his last chance to gain the jersey that he failed to gain last year, as he finished second in the youth rider standings.Following an opening week of flat stages, Taaramae became the talk of the media on the seventh stage when the riders headed into the hills for the first time.
