RIGA - During a press conference on May 25, Bank of Latvia President Ilmars Rimsevics said that the central bank’s point of view on the introduction of the euro into Latvia has changed a bit, and that Latvia must continue to closely follow what is happening within the eurozone, reports Nozare.lv. He emphasized that there is no information or circumstances at the moment that give evidence that Latvia should not join the European single currency as planned.
