TALLINN - Although the general awareness of possible ways to contract the HIV-virus has increased over the past two years, nearly a half of Estonian inhabitants continue to have unjustified fears of how the HIV-virus can spread, believing that it can be transmitted through mosquito bites, kissing a HIV carrier on the mouth or drinking from the same glass as an AIDS patient, reports National Broadcasting.The results of a study by TNS Emor, commissioned by the coalition ‘Companies against HIV,’ indicated that 41 percent of Estonian people do not believe they or their loved...
