VILNIUS (ELTA) - A group of American journalists who, Vilnius says, contributed to spreading the word about Lithuania's progress since its independence have been awarded medals for their work, according to the Oct. 2 issue of the official state newspaper Valstybes Zinios.The first grade of medals, awarded by decree of Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, went to Fox News correspondent Brit Hume, who previously covered the White House for ABC-TV, political analyst Cord Myer, New York Times columnist William Safire, and New Yorker magazine writer David Remnick.Among those to receive special "...
