Baltic farmers discuss CAP reform

TARTU - Farmers from the three Baltic states have met in the Estonian city of Tartu to discuss plans to stage a protest over agriculture subsidies, Estonian public broadcasting agency ERR reported.Farmers in all three Baltic states complain that they are not given a fair portion of subsidies from the EU’s Common Agriculture Policy, which amounts to the single largest expenditure in the bloc.
