Such an odd approach

If you look at the approach of the supposedly Social Democratic party Harmony Center (SC) to the referendum that is going to be held on February 18 to ask the people of Latvia whether they believe that Russian should be made a second state language in the country, you would be forgiven for thinking that members of the party have become rather schizophrenic.  In one voice they are saying that of course they understand that there is only one state language in the country and that that must absolutely be so.
