Kanepi knocks off world no.1

TOKYO, Japan – Kaia Kanepi has kept on rolling at the Toray Pan Pacific Open, knocking out top seed and world no. 1 Caroline Wozniacki in the round of 16. The 26-year-old Estonian needed nearly two and a half hours to get up over her Danish opponent before finally prevailing in three sets 7-5 1-6 6-4. Wozniacki appeared to be doing it easy early on, breaking Kanepi early in the opening set.
