NEW YORK, USA – Latvia’s Anastasija Sevastova will appear in the second round of the US Open women’s doubles draw following the retirement of her first round opponents after just three games. Sevastova and her partner Shuai Zhang of China were making easy work of the Spanish pairing of Carla Suarez Navarro and Laura Paus-Tio, winning the first three games.
