RIGA - Following on from Ineta Radevica’s bronze on Sunday, Estonia’s Gerd Kanter was able to double the Baltic medal count at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea on Tuesday evening, claiming silver in the men’s discus.With a throw of 66.95 meters on his second of six attempts, Kanter was not able to do enough to match Robert Harting of Germany, who won the event with a best throw of 68.97 meters, but it was good enough to see him hold off Iran’s Ehsan Hadadi, whose season best throw of 66.08 meters saw the Iranian take third spot on the podium....
