Radevica claims bronze for Latvia

DAEGU, South Korea – Latvia’s Ineta Radevica has made history, claiming Latvia’s first ever medal at an IAAF World Championships. Competing in the women’s long jump final on Sunday evening, 30-year-old Radevica was able to produce a season best jump of 6.76 meters to claim bronze, ending a 28 year wait for Latvia to see their first IAAF World Championship medal. The medal was so nearly silver with Radvica missing out on second spot on the podium by a mere centimeter with that honor instead going to 2010's biggest jumper Olga Kuche...
